ABOUT ME 

MY WORK

I'm a digital media fanboy who enjoys exploring new journalism formats and tools. I was raised on TIME, the Los Angeles Times, Car and Driver, movies and video games (part of a complete, balanced breakfast). Now I specialize in marrying narrative and interactive elements in the most unique ways I can imagine - whether it be through interactives, immersive web templates or talking tomatoes. I graduated from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2013 and currently work as a web producer and designer for The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Virginia. I won two Virginia Press Association awards in 2014: Best Multimedia News Report and Best Multimedia News Feature. I've also been published in Salon, Current.com, NPR.org, Powder, KQED, and the East Bay Express. In 2014, I was a featured lecturer on experimental storytelling at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
